differing styles.
you know what is incredibly dumb about college? so many professors think that their style of prose is the “right” way…it seems like the ONLY way too. i’m sick of it. i always alter/adjust my writing styles just to fulfill the professor’s egotistical hunger about their own style of writing. i write how they want me to write because i want that A (it’s a damn shame too). they just don’t seem to realize that good writing follows no “traditional guidelines.” whatever. i’m sure they’ve come to this realization at one point but said fuck it, “i want to get paid” and thus made their students write in a particular manner. theoretical essays are bullshit. you’ve argued topics made by thousands of students before you and yet professors want you to be “original” in your arguments. man, fuck that bullshit. nothing’s original these days anymore.
